stakeholders would react in each of the following situations?
a.
You study a proposal for a new system that will
completely automate the work of one individual in the customer’s company. You
discover that the cost of developing the system would be far more than the cost
of continuing to do the work manually, so you recommend against proceeding with
the project.
b.
You implement a system according to the precise
specifications of a customer. However, when the software is put into use, the
users find it does not solve their problem.
Answera. This situation involved about Development manager and customer. If customer can't pay more than Current budget. Developer manager should be suggest customer to use open source tool for reduce cost e.g. If in the proposal require weblogic server, manager should suggest customer to use glassfish server instead. Because glassfish server is opensource, it's free license. But If high-cost as a result of long term development effect and customer can't pay more than Current budget. Development manager shouldn't accept this job.
b. This situation has affected all types of stakeholders. Users not happy to use software because software not solve their problem. Users will think to waste time to use software. Customer lose budget for useless software. Developers and Manager waste time to find a solution for improve software for meet a new requirement. However development managers and customer must reconcile about improvement software not rebuild software.
